Our Board members are passionate, articulate, and effective leaders for our mission and are well informed of the stormwater issues that affect the Borough. They are not just about checks and balances, but are about finding solutions to stormwater issues that affect you individually as well as communally.
Ms. Heldman, a graduate of Indiana University of Pennsylvania and West Chester University, has a bachelor’s degree in Earth and Space Science Education and Environmental Geology and a Masters in Geoscience. Ms. Heldman has been a resident of the borough for 4 years and is also a member of the Dormont Community Garden. With her background in education, environmental science, policy, and environmental regulation, she is interested in public outreach and in helping the authority maintain PADEP MS4 and meet NPDES permit compliance. Her personal interests include working in her backyard garden, cooking, hiking, kayaking, traveling, and tennis.
