Mr. Klimowicz was born and raised in Pittsburgh until his family moved to New Jersey. He graduated from Rutgers University with a bachelors degree in criminal justice. He and his family moved back to the Pittsburgh area and have lived in Dormont for 5 years. He currently works in the criminal justice field. Like many others, Mr. Klimowicz was not aware of the stormwater problem facing many communities in the Pittsburgh region until it was brought to the attention of the public through the stormwater newsletters sent out in Dormont. Mr. Klimowicz is excited and motivated to help solve Dormont’s stormwater problem; by helping to make sure that public money is spent responsibly and effectively.
Prior to his appointment to the Stormwater Authority, Mr. Stumpo served as Chairman of the Dormont Citizen’s Stormwater Advisory Committee. Professionally, Mr. Stumpo is a Civil Engineer for one of the nation’s largest engineering and construction firms managing a wide array of multi-million dollar commercial and industrial projects around the country. Mr. Stumpo has been actively involved in volunteer activities in the Borough since his children were young. He has served the Borough as a baseball and soccer coach, and he currently serves as the soccer club’s referee assignor and is Vice President of the high school girls’ soccer boosters. He previously served as a member of the Borough’s Zoning Hearing Board. Frank and his family are 11-year residents of the Borough.
Mr. Hastings is originally from Westmoreland County and attended The Pennsylvania State University to study Geosciences. He graduated in 2008 with a bachelor’s degree, has worked as an environmental consultant, water resource planner, and senior scientist while holding a Professional Geologist license. Mr. Hastings moved to Dormont in 2015 with his wife and dog. As a family they participate in the Therapy Dog International program and are frequently at the Dormont library to read with children. Mr. Hastings looks forward to the challenges that are presented by providing the most benefit possible to the Borough with the efficient and effective use of taxpayer money.
Mr. Greenlee was born and raised in Albion, PA. He completed his education at Edinboro University, and in stride, completed an internship at Erie Water Works in the GIS Department. After completing his degree in Geography and Environmental Studies and minor in GIS, he moved to Crafton for a few months before settling in Dormont in 2017. While he currently works with natural gas pipelines in the GIS field, he still has a passion for stormwater pipelines and green infrastructure. Mr. Greenlee is motivated to use taxpayers money in the most effective way possible to help our community mitigate the numerous stormwater problems we face.
